When does space begin?

It is a subject that has occupied the minds of scientists and astronomers for almost all time.

The current star race of billionaires Bezos and Branson has recently reignited the debate.

A quelle altitude débute l’espace?

At what imaginary boundary does the end of our planet lie and the great unknown begin?

The Hungarian physicist von Kármán suggested an altitude of 80 km at the beginning of the 20th century.

Today, the International Aeronautical Federation (FAI) considers the limit to be 100 km above sea level.

At this level, the atmosphere becomes non-existent, and the temperature, pressure and colour of the sky change.

By way of comparison, aircraft fly at an altitude of 10 km

At GRAVITI, however, we have the answer:

➡️ space starts, in fact, as soon as you open one of our float tanks 👌🏻

Treat yourself to a billionaire’s delight: come and try floating this summer!
